He doesn't like young players who struggle in the NHL. I guess this is a problem for some reason. I look at a guy like Granlund and I honestly can't understand what anyone (Hartley included) sees in him so far. To me, he's a generic 4th liner who excels at nothing, except killing penalties. Do me a favor and show me some generic 4th liners who put up a shade under a point per game (0.865PPG) between ages 20-22 in the AHL. Now do the same for ~5'11" second line wingers.
