I will be in Calgary on April 7 with the intent on attending my first NHL hockey game. It will be the Flames' last home game and I need advice on acquiring tickets for me and my wife. Will it be hard to get tickets outside from scalpers? Should I pay the outrageous Stubhub fees and get my tickets before arriving in town? I'm more excited about experiencing "real" hockey than the 5 days I'll be spending in Banff, prior to my visit on the 7th. Any advice for this sports nut from South Carolina would be appreciated.
