What are your thoughts on the matter? Can 5v5 survive over the long term? In 10 years, I expect 5v5 to be competing with 3v3 for players and audiences. In 20 years I think 5v5 will be largely superceded by the wholly superior 3v3 format.



I enjoy 3v3 but not to the extent of replacing 5v5.

If the players have outgrown the NHL sized rink, what about changing to international sized ice surfaces? I've read on other sites this discussion before, but I just wonder if it would make for a better product (not that I think the game needs to change at all, well maybe the size of the goalie equipment).
