That's a really weird thing to say, as even the right wing will generally these days admit that Bill Clintons financial policies were a remarkable success. His handling of the budget was probably some of the best in history. By the end of his term the federal budget was in surplus, and he managed to do that without making cuts that anyone would still remember. It's a remarkable achievement for any leader.
Even though some of the longterm effects of cutting down on financial regulation have turned out to be disastrous, the Clinton presidency was pretty much the last of the "good times" for the US.
