Hey, so I have an auction that is about to end on ebay for a trading card, I haven't sold anything on here in years and even then it was mostly MMO accounts/items. What are the steps I should take to protect myself?

I made it clear in the auction that payment is required in full including shipping through Paypal before I will send the item. I planned to send it in a hard case, between two pieces of stiff cardboard either in a solid envelope with bubble wrap or a box with bubble wrap. I also wanted to send it priority so he has to sign for it when it arrives to avoid him just saying he never got it.

Anything else I should do to make sure I don't get scammed?
