It used to work in my area. Then the banner went up about 2 years ago, and right on the schedule it warned, the SD channels were turned off.
I'm so used to OTA TV that I forget that other people get more channels. Occasionally I get some blips, but I live pretty far south and have a puny little antenna hooked up to a bunch of coax that is split, so I works surprisingly well considering. Global, City, CTV are all crystal 1080i picture. CBC flips between 720 and 900, but it's probably still better than the ultra compressed channel you would get on a subscriber service.
