He really has no incentive to disrupt his life and move to a new city for a couple of months for what would be at best a slight improvement in his chance to win the Cup.
If his true intention is to go to the Leafs its really in his best interest to just sign with Toronto rather than allow a trade.

A trade will weaken the position of the team that he wants to join.

It would be much better for him to have another playoff run, and then jump ship.

Fans would blast him if he did that, but he is well within his rights to do such a thing, and there wouldn't be a single thing wrong with that.

If I were a fan of Tampa I'd probably be irate, but he doesn't owe them anything beyond this season.
