So the guy has a gun, lets try and shoot him in the leg? They arent trained, but they are snipers. This miss his leg, and buddy keeps shooting and kills a cop or worse, an innocent person. Police are trained to shoot at the body as its the easiest to hit.

(If that was a joke then ignore this)

Could this be considered a drive by?
