With Damon Huard at quarterback and an average offensive line at best the Chiefs are forced to keep their only good receiver Tony Gonazalez back to block. Eddie Kennison and Sammy Parker may be the weakest receiving duo in football. Larry Johnson is a stellar running back, but once the Chiefs get to the 20, the yardage becomes damn hard to get. Yes the defence is improved but it's hard to win in the NFL when your team scores 8 points per week and turns the ball over at least twice a game. Thats what the Chiefs defence is facing this year. Not to mention the 4th toughest schedule in Football. Outside of their 3 games against so so NFC West opponents I don't see them beating anyone.
