I dont see any real danger in it, I mean, if the fire gets out of control just leave the stick on the ice. Its composite so theres nothing to burn once the fuel/tape is gone and if its on the ice...I cant see anything happening.
Even the goalie! I dont think hockey equipment, especially jerseys, are flammable.
But then again I do have extensive knowledge of insurance companies. Remember the outrage when the Women's team were smoking cigars on the ice after winning Gold in Vancouver?
