Fly off the handle, knee jerk reaction, whatever. The event was more than three years ago. People deserve to know the truth and vote with that knowledge. If someone loses the election because they screwed up -- that's exactly what is supposed to happen.
It should be "here is the information, now vote", not "vote, then we'll give you the information".

Knee jerk reactions be damned...its better than re-electing someone who shouldn't be there because of past actions, giving a new chance for more poor decisions.

Hey I think it should be released, unlike the 30 year old Kerry senate arguement, this is not only current but highly relevant. You know though, if you're deciding who to vote for and have given every chance to Bush along the way, and this is what tips the balance, where the hell were you?! It would have been better to be informed throughout the process than kneejerked it at the end. IMO
