A student in La Loche confirms there was a shooting at the community school this afternoon. A Facebook post on the school's page says there is currently an emergency occurring at the Dene Building of the school.
The post says the elementary school is also under a lock down. The school is asking the public to stay clear.
No one is being allowed in or out until further notice is given by the RCMP, according to the post.
