Funnily enough, I fit into this category where I provide a professional service to mostly international clients...however Ive never actually had a client who asked to pay in Canadian dollars to save some money on their end (and I definitely don't bring it up, ha). Typically they always give me their budgets in their local currency, and I do the same for any proposals.
I'm a pretty small potato in the grand scheme of things, but anyone who can work on an international stage, while keep their costs local, is in a pretty decent spot with a low dollar.

We're starting to get some requests for Canadian consultants because of the clients are budgeting in US dollars. A year ago we cost more, so now they know they're getting good value.
In a conversation I had recently, my senior execs said we are becoming better value than our India office for offshore clients, especially if this sustains. That's incredible.
