Funnily enough, I fit into this category where I provide a professional service to mostly international clients...however Ive never actually had a client who asked to pay in Canadian dollars to save some money on their end (and I definitely don't bring it up, ha). Typically they always give me their budgets in their local currency, and I do the same for any proposals.
I'm a pretty small potato in the grand scheme of things, but anyone who can work on an international stage, while keep their costs local, is in a pretty decent spot with a low dollar.
