BC has more variety for filming as well. The only stuff that gets filmed in Alberta are westerns (Hell on Wheels), mountain scenes (Revenant), and small-town set show (Fargo).

The last major motion picture actually filming in our urban core must be like Superman III in 1982. I can't remember anything else. Vancouver on the other hand, has played almost every other major western city in the world.
