Trump is absolutely detested by minorities, independents, democrats and a very significant portion of the GOP. If he wins the nomination he should stand no chance of winning. People may not vote for a democrat but they sure as heck will stay home or leave the presidential ballot empty. Latest match up polls have Clinton and Sanders destroying Trump in a hypothetical matchup. Sanders has actually surged and holds his own in all theoretical match ups right now. Of course some of these polls are few and far between.
People seem confused about the Sanders surge as they can't seem to find something significant to point to that would lead to a surge. I can't help but think if it was Biden's comments that cemented some things for some voters. At least temporarily. The big endorsement that people are waiting for is Warren...if Sanders can get that then look out. Still think Warren should have run. Remarkably well spoken and bright. Also think that whoever gets the nomination would be very smart to make her their running mate.
