It is, but if you want a place to play, you need to support the local game shops.

People buying Settlers of Catan don't need that place to play but lots of CCG, RPG, and minatures (XWing, Warhammer) players would be out of luck, especially at the competitive level, without a store like Sentry Box.

Personally, I game at Metal Galaxy (new store by the old Back Alley location) and Eastridge Hobbies (Riverbend) whenever I can, because they price the product as competitively as possible, even though I know for a fact that both stores have lost money or made almost no profit on some sealed MTG product they sold me in the last few months due to exchange.

My experience with Mike at Phoenix has been nothing but positive as well, but I don't make it to that side of the city enough to do much shopping there.
