According to the economics we should see significant cost decreases from the following:
- Public transit
- Garbage and recycling collection
- Taxi fares
- Canada Post and all shipping companies
- Trucking companies and CP rail that deliver all our commodities
- Airline and any travel agency
....just to name a few
My point is, when the cost of fuel was high, there was an immediate increase to the costs of materials, commodities, and services.
Why is it not relevant to decrease the costs with lower fuel prices?

Gas was at $.77 this morning when I left my house, The peak was at $1.44 not that long ago.
As for the rest
- Public transit
(well probably see another increase this year)
- Garbage and recycling collection
(well see an increase with the carbon tax)
- Taxi fares
(increase with the carbon tax)
- Canada Post and all shipping companies
(increase with the carbon tax)
- Trucking companies and CP rail that deliver all our commodities
(increase)
- Airline and any travel agency
(until you travel to the States, then its a major increase)
....just to name a few
