1. Prices are a lot lower
2. The cost of gasoline isn't the only cost associated with the business of a gas station. It is also not the only cost associated with other business that rely on transportation. Rent doesn't go down because Oil is cheaper. Heating and Electric doesn't go down because Oil is cheaper. Wages don't go down because Oil is cheaper.

Hearing that gas prices haven't matched the oil prices over and over from people is so maddening.
