The festival will begin unveiling the rest of the lineup for its 10th anniversary year on Feb. 9, with the release of the first 15 to 20 headliners.

It should only raise the profile of the snot-nosed punk of Calgary’s festival scene, one that started off on the fringes 10 years ago and has grown into one of the true gems of the region’s musical and artistic landscape.

And, on top of that, it’s also become a notable economic contributor to the city, as a recently released economic impact assessment produced by the Canadian Sport Tourism Alliance and for Tourism Calgary showed that last year’s event generated $3.4 million in economic activity for the province.
