It was also proposed, totally independently on the same day by the Steve Dangle podcast. They basically suggested giving nominations to unexpected players. They wanted Shayne Gostisbehere for the Met, because he has a funny name... Oddly, their nominee for the Atlantic was Komarov, who got in anyway.
