So are the TSN legal experts the go to guys now? I guess they make the rules... It's just funny that the teams were selected and then Scott was traded....he no longer plays for the team he was selected to represent, he actually doesn't play in the NHL any longer so he can't really represent anyone because it's the NHL all star game not the "anyone who fans vote in all star game". I'm sure the league could amend things and let Scott be the rep from the Canadians and take away whoever is representing them and then re select someone from the coyotes...they just don't want to. As empowered as some feel because they're online, they don't get the final say. The league doesn't want Scott there for a bunch of reasons and I think one is player safety. Just imagine Johnny is flying out there and he's taking the game serious and something happens where Scott completely screws up and either runs into Johnny and injures him (because lets face it, Scott isn't really good at playing hockey) or Johnny gets mad and Scott gets mad and loses his mind again and knocks Johnny out or some other star or he does something else incredibly terrible (because he's more likely to do something terrible than he is to do something good considering his career). Fans would be outraged that a no talent ogre like Scott was trusted to play with some of the best players in the world. Scott is a liability and his career stats prove that.
Maybe the Canadians should send Scott as their rep and then tell him to just go crazy and injure as many players as possible so it screws over the other teams and helps the Canadians with their playoff push! Scott injuring someone at the game is about as likely as him scoring points.
