Seems kinda silly to argue over $450,000 with the reigning MVP, but with the way it looks like the Jays are going to be run now, it shouldn't be too surprising.
I think both Bautista and Encarnacion will be gone by trade deadline this year and maybe tulo or Donaldson by deadline next year.
