Yup, except right now they have an excellent chance at the playoffs and just objectively the team needs to have success from an optics point of view. The Flames just came off an exceptionally fun year. It's time the Panthers had one of those.
Plus, the Flames are still going to have to have a very good last half of the year to have a hope at playoffs.
All things considered, this should be the Panthers year for some success. I just can't really root against either team.
