Are you saying that the Flames were NOT in serious discussions with the Blue Jackets?
Who would the Flames have involved in discussions if not Hamilton that would have anywhere close to the value of Seth Jones? Monahan?
Had Seth Jones fallen another 2 spots in the 2013 draft who do you think the Flames would have picked?
