Do you know what all these groups have in common?
They make an appointment with a busy Mayor before coming to town. They did't expect that they could roll into town expecting the Mayor to alter his schedule and to roll out the red carpet for them.
(I assume they hadn't done this because obviously they would have been given the message they received today: "If we have something new to talk about, let's meet, otherwise there's no point")
