Turris situation might help Drouin's value, not hurt it. Ottawa got a bargain in hindsight and other Gm's see that. Highly touted prospect goes on to new found success after change of scenery.
I don't think playing in the AHL hurts his value, but he needs to play well. Arguably Bennett would be in the AHL on a better NHL squad, and that might be better for his overall development.
