If the goal is a Stanley Cup then you keep an open mind depending on the return. Tampa Bay is an attractive trading partner as they have some nice pieces

In my opinion Monahan and Hamilton are pretty much untouchable. Add Brodie, Bennett, and Gaudreau to that list.
Monahan, Bennett, Gaudreau, Brodie were all drafted and developed by the organization. Monahan and Bennett share a maturity and drive that allowed them to fit on to NHL rosters right after their draft. Gaudreau looks like he can be a face of the league type star. Hamilton was a complete steal by Calgary. The size, skating, and shot are great and he is years away from hitting his prime. Brodie already is a number 1 Dman you don't trade those.
Gio I don't see the organization even considering trading but I would get on board if he was moved for a legit young star (Johansen for example). Doubtful it happens
Now if the Oilers offer up McDavid for Monahan or Bennett then of course you make the trade. It just won't happen
