Fair enough. I just knew your arguments leaned the islam way(and I don't mean that in a bad sense) For your family to step away from religion I suspect they are Shia, because very few Sunni can step away without consequences.

Trump has a long way to go to turn his followers into radical freaks that would blow themselves up in order to kill muslims, I think Trump is a joke as much as the next guy but he's certainly not pounding his fists saying kill the muslims either. and he's bashed the mexicans just as much as people from the muslim faith.

Recent polls from around the world say 20-30% of Muslims support radical jihad, no rights for woman and stoning them for adultery, execution for being gay,sorcery(what is that?) leaving Islam, and many other very barbaric things.
That equates to between 340 and 510 million people around the world that hate you and I. They see our way of life as an attack on Islam and are willing to die to defend it. Like it or not the western world cannot change this, Islam itself has to change and moderate Muslims have to lead it's change.
