I think the Loss of a guy like Al Saunders can't be stated enough. You had one of the best offenses in the league the last couple years and you lose the OC, granted he is one of the top or the top OC in the league, but I mean when you've got something great going, you have to fork out that extra money to keep a guy like that.
But I do agree with Sylvan, it doesn't matter if the Defense is stopping guys now. Green even before that concussion was probably thinking retirement soon enough. One playoff team in 8 years. Too bad you couldn't even put together even a half decent defense one of those seasons. The Window is pretty much closed on the offensive side of the ball at least.
