And Drouin has 2. Normally I love your posts but in this case I'm not sure what you're getting at. Both are young players that have far higher upsides than they've shown. Both aren't fully developed.
People want to keep Ferland because he has the potential to be one of the rarest commodities in the NHL, a power forward with skill. That ranks up there with big #1 centre and top pairing defenseman as some of the hardest things to find. There's a reason why every team wanted Lucic there for a while and teams like EDM were naming him as a type of player they need. Ferland has that potential.
I'd be very wary about giving him up. He's not quite untouchable for me but after Brodie, Gaudreau, Monahan, Gio, Hamilton and Bennett, he's the player in the organization I'd least like to move.
