The National Women’s Hockey League released statements Friday regarding the health status of Boston Pride player Denna Laing who suffered a significant spinal injury at the Outdoor Women’s Classic on Dec. 31.
The statements were on behalf of Laing’s family, NWHL commissioner Dani Rylan, CWHL commissioner Brenda Andress, NHL commissioner Gary Bettman, the Boston Bruins, Montreal Canadiens and the New England Patriots.
