Kyllington was considered the best skater in his draft class, not named McDavid. And he showed pretty elite offensive talent as well (better numbers than Karlsson).
The concern was that he might be a headcase, and that he was a mess defensively.
He is now showing that he isn't a headcase, and that his defensive game is actually just fine for an 18 year old - though, yes it's still a small sample size.
So if the concerns are significantly deteriorated, and he still has elite skills, why would his rank not rise again to reflect that?

Sorry I don't watch the Heat but I don't see how he is doing anything outside of skating well that is shaping he is a top 5 talent. I see a player that averages about 0.3ppg in the AHL (decent for a young player) and did not make his country's world junior team. Admittedly I have not followed him close but if he was such a great prospect wouldn't we have a 'fricken' thread and be following him more closely?
What does he rank if we did a poll of top Flames prospects today?
Also I am not meaning to hate on him but I would also have zero issue trading Kylington + for Drouin. I hope it happens but seriously doubt it does.
