Andersen>Hiller. Why are a few of you being so block headed about this?

It's not about replacing Ramo right now. It's insuring there's a competent replacement if Ramo gets hurt of reverts back to super poo Ramo.

I've veiled nothing in my comtempt for Ramo but he is doing well right now and has secured his seat for the rest of the season. But Hiller is stone cold, won't be back next year, Ortio is a giant question mark for next year too.

You're spending an asset securing a little insurance for the rest of the year and perhaps create a competition for next year if the Flames should choose to re-sign Ramo.

Some of you are making Andersen out to be garbage. He's not and is equally a victim of a goalie carousel as many of you would use to defend Ramo. 3 years younger and is a better goalie by any metric than anything the flames have at the NHL level right now.

It's rather silly to hedge bets on Ramo and not try to make the team better in both the short and long term.

I was intrigued at the idea of landing a UFA goalie too, but Ward isn't doing much, Niemi isn't going anywhere, and I'm not sure the Cam Talbots of the world are going to make things better.
