The opportunity here is that Drouin has poisoned the well in Tampa so Yzerman ( whether he admits it or not) is being forced into a trade situation and thus while he will expect good value for Drouin he will also be motivated to get a deal done. This may be a rare opportunity to secure an elite player ( which I truly believe Drouin to be) for less than an elite price.

Drouin would be in the AHL and Bennett in the NHL so not sure how that would work.
Also Bennet = gym rat. Drouin not so much.
The price seems pretty elite to me if it involves a first. Any of the top ten picks this year are likely better than Drouin.
