Sure, Drouin's upside is higher than Horvat's. But Horvat has been showing for a season and a hoalf already that he is a legitmate NHLer.
IF Drouin meets his potential, he's worth more. But will he? What are the odds?
If you factor Drouin at maybe 60-75% likely to be the player he can be, then Horvat probably has more value right now. IMO, Horvat does have more value.
And from there, it goes without saying that Bennett
definitely has more value. Bennett has
already demonstrated signs that he can/will be the player that he can be. And, he is a C.
Those two facts, plus the fact that he has done so at a younger age, put him clearly ahead of Drouin in value at this point, IMO.
