Whether or not Bennett has more value in the hockey world than Drouin right now, I think it is safe to conclude that he is abundantly more valuable to the Flames and their future. I would worry that swapping these players would produce a hole at centre in Calgary, and would upset the developing balance of skill, size, "grit" that Bennett provides to the core group.
