What does it matter where the fans are from if the seats are being sold? There's about 10-12 teams doing significantly worse than the Chargers from a business perspective. It's pretty ridiculous how they are going to let these guys move because they've backed the NFL behind closed doors on every single controversial decision over the past few years in anticipation of a potential move.
Financially speaking, the Buffalo Bills are the worst franchise in the league. The NFL would fight tooth and nail to keep these guys in Buffalo, while clearing the way for a relatively successful franchise to move on.
That article you posted is from AXS. A Los Angeles based ticket sale/resale sight. Their office is right in the Staples Center. I think they are the main ticket agent for all the LA teams ( I bought Clippers tickets directly through them). AXS crapping all over San Diego is just them pushing their agenda to get an LA based team.
