Yeah he did well but the fact is that it isn't good how MSL and that franchise parted ways. But perhaps one of Yzerman's strengths is he appears to be pretty ruthless.
But when you have two "faces of the franchise" seemingly wanting out (MSL and now Stamkos) and the "future face" in Drouin - you have to wonder what's going on.
