ok , so I know not much about computers, so probably will get lingo wrong
have a laptop that I usually use with my home network . although I have a wireless router at home, I rarely go wireless at home instead plug into the network
anyways went to a conference last week, and tinkered with my laptop in order to get onto their wireless network (not positive what I did?)
so now at home, my laptop won't recognized the home network...I know the internet (shaw) still works at home b/c the desktop still works fine. however the laptop appears not to recognize the network even when plugged in (in fact even when I attach the cable to the back of the laptop it fails to 'light up' in the back...I tried plugging the laptop into the desktop cable..same problem)
in short, the laptop is now all wireless, all the time...what gives?
