I feel like the triggers are a bit cleaner, but really, it feels like the exact same controller to me. Not that I care, cause I liked the previous ones. But it makes me curious on how you think they changed.

I know a few people who have said they prefer the XBOX controllers have said the like it better because they have large hands. I haven't used the XBOX controller much, but I do know they are a bit chunkier, though I didn't feel they were too big. I just didn't like the set up. The sticks not being symmetrical in their layout. Though, I think it's something I'd get used to pretty easy if I preferred the XBOX. Their controller actually reminds me of the Nintendo 64 controller.

The biggest change from the DS3 that I noticed immediately was the size. It seems subtle but they beefed up the contours/grips and widened the controller itself for a more substantial feel in the hand. With that, the gap between the two joysticks was also increased a bit (which was a main gripe for me with the DS3. I prefer the joystick placement on the XB but they're in a better spot now on PS4 than they were previously).

Also, the concaved triggers and new grip on the sticks is way better. The previous controller's "dome" sticks and goofy triggers felt just bizarre in my hand, especially for things like shooters (all...slippy and awkward). It was interesting that they held on to design traits like that for so long. I also like the textured back...and hell, even the light bar and the touchpad are kind of cool.

As mentioned earlier too, the "deadzone" on the DS4's sticks seems smaller than those on the XB1. So, even though I prefer the overall feel of the XB1 controller more, I find that I've been doing a little better for some reason on shooter games especially with the DS4. Feels a little more precise, oddly.
