That's not actually true. Much like your assertions that two wrongs don't make a right, a jerk trying to counterbalance by taking an opposite stance adds zero balance. No discussion actually benefits from a jerky contrarian.
You'd be better off joining the many people being moderate. Those people are doing a lot better of a job pulling posters away from the "lynch" side than some jerk telling them they're flat out wrong.
