If you just want to post photo's, Instagram and Flickr are good. However, photo blogs aren't dead either, as there's always going to be a group of people that follow you for the stories just as much as for the photo's. Why not do both? You can post most of your photo's on instagram and/or flickr except for the ones that you use on your photo blog.
