For me? I prefer the PS4 joysticks - deadzone is smaller, offering more precise control. I do still prefer the joystick placement on the Xbox One controller though - so if there were a blend of the two, that'd be perfection.
Sounds like the Elite Controller is a fantastic controller - but I've yet to convince myself to spend that amount of money on a controller (...although it is tempting).

The analog stick placement is antiquated as it goes back decades. It's not ideal for FPS games like the Xbox controllers. It's something I wish Sony would just bite the bullet, accept, and change. If Sony changed the stick placement I feel they could make a controller as good or superior to the Xbox controller but until that happens the two lower sticks is antiquated. My statement was more to Cube that seems to feel that the Sony system and controller is full stop better. That is all.
