I had my entire door mechanism changed out this year for about $600, including some parts on the door itself. The thing that got me though was that the annual maintenance for the door guys to come out and give it a tuneup is under $150.00. i've never had it tuned up, let alone annually, but if it's been a while since a garage door guy has looked at it, it might be worth the money to get a tuneup.
