I mean, the officiating was terrible but this has never looked like a team in sync and frankly they don't look like a team that's at all motivated. Marner occasionally decides he's interested, Koneckny always is, and Hicketts makes a consistent effort, but the bulk of the roster doesn't really seem to care 90% of the time. The best I've seen them play was late in the first when they were actually hitting people, then they take a penalty and lose all the momentum. That has to be on the coaching staff.
