If the team doesn't make the playoffs it's not going to be attributable to one goal. It may be attributable to an awful start. A 600th goal by one of the greatest Flames in history is an undeniably significant and unique event and I'd be very happy for Iginla to get a standing ovation and a call from Beasely if he scored his 600th against the Flames. The history has value.
