You would get the same production out of Perron that you get out of a healthy Jones. I have no problem trading any of our 'tradable' guys away for picks and prospects, as our internal options have the potential to be Perron only cheaper. Trading defence, I would actually prefer picks coming back.
It would have to be a special player, or a player on an expiring contract, for me to consider getting behind an NHLer coming back in a trade, at this point in the teams development.
Felt I needed to reply though, because Kovolev was a wizard with the puck. Not a good comparable for Perron. Kovolev was..... lazy Hossa?
