If he's available at the draft, I can totally see it too. Granlund is showing his top 6 instinct and proving he's responsible in his own end. Reason I'm saying this is he's likely the only guy to get displaced by bringing on RJ.
Backlund is looking like an odd man out. However, He would make a great 3rd line C for a team that is 2 centers deep. So why would the Flames move him in the event RJ came on.
It's an interesting situation that could really change this franchise. Question is, does the RJ with attitude issues and fitness concerns tarnish the locker room and create a divide or does he relish the opportunity to go to a team that could make a serious run with him.
