This year, none of the prospects down on the farm are producing and Poirier especially has struggled. The top scorers on the team probably don't have a real NHL future (Grant, Shore, Hamilton) and 3 of the top defence prospects (Kulak, Morrison, Wotherspoon) who were expected to challenge and push for spots in the NHL have put up terrible numbers.
And the team doesn't win.

Agreed. I think lower individual stats can tolerated if the team is winning; a result of strong positional and defensive play.
